The last Christmas was the Roberts' Christmas on Monday after we got back from DFW.
We got there late because Michael worked that day, and when we got there, we had green chili chicken pasta and pizza. Emerald was antsy to open her presents.
Aunt Melisa and Uncle Steven took the kids outside and showed what they got the kids--a net-enclosed trampoline!! Gabriel and Emerald were beside themselves with joy. It is now set up in my living room so that the kids can get their physical exercise without having to brave the elements.
After that, we went inside to open presents :) Michael and I got a Barnes and Noble gift card; I got a beautiful grey shirt and sweater; Michael also got a Game Stop gift card.
Gabriel was once again super uninterested in opening gifts--he wanted to look at the pictures in a book this time--so I opened them for him. He got a football, a noisy camera toy, a bat mobile, and...ummmm.....crap. Something else.
Emerald got a toy microwave and toy food so that she can "help" Mommy in the kitchen. She loves it, as long as you pause to try her fake food on occasion. She also got a ball.
They were both very happy with their haul =)
